Rachel is a Licensed Professional Counselor that believes that mental health and wellness begin with intentionally exploring and practicing self-care. She strives to build positive relationships with her clients in order to make a connection and want to do the work of healing alongside you.
Rachel has experience with adolescents and adults experiencing difficulty with depression, anxiety, self-esteem, trauma, grief, and addictions. She believes there is no “one size fits all”, in the world of counseling so pooling from various forms of approaches is what you can expect when working together. Some of her more frequently used approaches are Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Reality Therapy.
Rachel received her Masters of Addictions from Governors State University in 2015 and Masters of School Counseling from Concordia University in 2019. She also maintains a CADC (Certified Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Counselor).
