The hardest step is usually the first; you made it here, and from here on out you are not alone. I am a strong believer in creating a safe, warm, and non-judgmental space for people to be seen, heard, and to have their problems validated and addressed. Through our work together we can use your own strengths and insight to help create your best life.
As a graduate of The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, my work involves individuals and families alike, with a focus on how family forms the template for so many other future relationships in our individual adult lives. Areas of particular focus include depression, anxiety, parent-child relationships, career assessment and change, issues of gender and sexuality, and family/intergenerational dynamics.
If you are struggling or overwhelmed, or you feel you could be soon, I am here to listen, understand, and help you create a path forward. You deserve to feel like the strong, competent, caring person you always have been, and you can again. Through our work together you will remember your strengths and create new ones to carry you forward.
